Ghana attacker Joseph Paintsil scored late to hand a point to KRC Genk in their Jupiler Pro League clash on Sunday afternoon.

Paintsil, 25, sat out of Genk's 2-2 draw with Fiorentina in the Europa League in midweek but he was restored to the squad for the home test against Truiden.

Aboubakary Koita scored a first-half hat-trick for Truiden to stun the home crowd with Truiden appearing to be cruising to victory.
However, Genk staged a strong comeback in the second-half with Moroccan youth midfielder
Bilal El Khannouss pulling a goal back in the 58th minute.
Nigerian forward Emmanuel Arokodare was next on the scoresheet for Genk before Paintsil hit the back of the net on the 85th-minute mark.

The goal marks Paintsil's first strike in 7 games this season for Genk in the Jupiler Pro League.
Meanwhile, Christopher Baah Bonsu came off the bench on the 71st minute to play for Genk while Joselpho Barnes, the son of former Ghana youth international Sebastian Barnes, came off the bench to also play for St Truiden.
