Accra Lions coach, Ibrahim Tanko, feels his side deserved at least a point from their 1-0 home reverse against Asante Kotoko.

The Lions were consigned to a painful 1-0 loss to the Porcupine Warriors on Monday evening at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Forward Kalo Ouattara left it late to claim the maximum point for the record league winners.

After tasting their first defeat of the season, Tanko feels his side's effort should have been rewarded with at least a point.

"It is a very painful loss for us. The defeat was a result of a loss of concentration. At least a draw would have been a fair result based on how the two teams played," he told Nana Darkwa Gyasi in the post-match interview.

"We didn't deserve to lose this game - a minimum of one point would have been better for us," he added.
