Inaki Williams speaks after scoring first Ghana goal - Find out what he said

The Athletic Bilbao forward struck the winner with a 95th minute header from a Gideon Mensah assist at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium

Ghana forward Inaki Williams has turned religious after netting his debut Ghana goal.

The 29-year-old has insisted that his debut goal for the Black Stars was no luck. He has instead credited the goal to 'God'.

Prior to Friday's game in Kumasi, the former Spain U21 forward had played 11 games without scoring for the West Africans and pressure was mountaining on head coach Chris Hughton to drop him to bench.

His teammates jubilated wildly with him and he thundered the ball home from a Gideon Mensah cross.

He posted on social media moments after the game: "It was no luck. It was God."

Ghana's opening day win has put them on same points level with Comoros and Mali who also won their games.
