A pressure group, identified as Ghana Football Stakeholders Forum, has announced that they will embark on a mammoth demonstration in Accra against the Ghana Football Association led by Kurt Okraku.

The group, led by musicians Nicholas Omana Acheampong and Isaiah Kwadwo Ampong together with celebrated nationalist Abraham Boakye, is furious with the leadership style of Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku.

The group is of a strong opinion that football in the West African country has taken a nose-dive due to the bad management and leadership style of Kurt Okraku whose tenure is set to expire on October 25, 2023.

Some members of the group feel that state funds were misappropriated during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar and other international assignments involving Ghana's national teams.

According to the leadership of the group, the demonstrators will converge at the Ako Adjei Interchange in Accra on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 9 AM. The protestors will march on the principal streets leading to the headquarters of the Ghana FA at Ridge - a suburb of Accra.

They have also targeted the premises of the Ministry of Youth and Sports where they will be hoping to present their petition to the Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Mustapha Ussif.
