Ghana international attacker Joseph Paintsil registered an impressive goal for KRC Genk in their 3-3 home draw with Westerlo in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League on Sunday.

Paintsil, 25, put his name on the scoresheet 5 minutes into the second half at the Cegeka Arena.

Genk had taken a commanding 3-1 lead after Paintsil's goal however, the visitors fought from behind to succumb to a surprising draw.

The home side had to play the entire second half with 10 men after Ghanaian youngster Christopher Baah Bonsu was sent off in first-half stoppage-time after picking a double booking.

Paintsil, who was a target for Southampton, has now scored 2 goals in 9 league games and provided 3 assists.
